Chief Mark Honeysett
Chief Honeysett has been with the Constantine Police Department since March 1, 2004. Before coming to Constantine he worked for Kalamazoo Township for almost 31 years starting as a dispatcher right after graduating from high school. Mark enjoys reading, bowling, golf, and the Detroit Tigers. After filling in as interim village manager for several months, Mark was recently hired as the village manager while continuing to be the chief.
Lieutenant Richard Maus
Rich started as a part time officer with this department joining us as a seasoned veteran in police work. He had previously worked many years as a detective for the Three Rivers Police Department before taking a civilian management job. Rich started here in August of 2003 became full time in October of 2005 and in October 2006 he was promoted to Lieutenant.
Corporal Robert Studabaker
Bob has spent most of his police career right here in Constantine. After being a reserve officer for Three Rivers Police Department for 3 years, he started here in 1980 and this June will be celebrating 27 years with the Constantine Police Department. Bob enjoys bowling, golf, and collecting autographs from famous ball players.
Officer Marcus Donker
Marcus started with the police department in December of 2004 working as a part time officer. In October he was hired on as a full time officer for the village, filling a vacancy. Graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with as associates Degree in 2003.
Officer Mark Sherer
Mark is an eighteen year veteran of the police department. Mark started out as a reserve with our department then moving up to a part time officer whie working as an officer with the Cassopolis Police Department. Mark accepted a full time position with our police department several years ago and he is currently department training officer. He is currently a member of the National Guard as E6 and has been for the past 24 years.
Officer Matt Davis
Matt joined this department in the fall as a part time officer. Matt also works part time for the Parchment Police Department and when he’s not busy working you can probably catch him playing in his band.
Officer Michael Boisonault
Mike also joined our department in the fall as a part time officer. Mike works full time for the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department at the jail.
Reserve Officer Jerry Alber
Jerry has been a reserve officer since July 1998. He had been a reserve officer with the Bristol Police Department for many years before coming to Constantine. Jerry is frequently seen during the summer months on bike patrol.
Reserve Officer Jason McBride
Jason joined the department in the fall of 2005. Jason is an experienced reserve as he has previously worked for other agencies as a reserve officer
Reserve Officer Angela Moore
Angela graduated from the St. Joseph County Reserve Academy this past fall and now works as a reserve officer for this department. She works full time as a social worker for the State of Michigan. Angela also served in the US Navy for 12 years.
Reserve Officer Sarah Moore
Sarah also graduated from the St. Joseph County Reserve Academy this fall and is working as a reserve officer for this department. She is a 1999 graduate of Constantine High School and will be receiving her Bachellors degree in Business Leadership from Baker College this spring.
Reserve Officer Jim Wyngarden
Jim has been with the department since April 2001 and can frequently be seen patrolling the football and basketball games. Jim enjoys fishing, baseball, and spending time with his children. Jim is a graduate of Constantine High School in 1989. he has attended GOCC and G.R.Jr College and is working on his criminal justice degree.
Administrative Assistant Terri Mellen
Terri has been with the department since June 1996. Her job entails many different responsibilities.
